Gunslinger or Sintir slinger !
As a fan, I think we all heard Gunslinger hundreds of times over the course of years. An acoustic western intro starts slowly alongside Matt's voice. Before you know it , it is hell dropping over your head whit the hammering guitars and the fast beating drums.
The song was released in 2007 on the White album. It shares the story of a soldier in the war zone, and his desire to come back home safe.
Now you maybe got used to Johnny's baseline shooting fire on this track, but how about you listen to Rabi's cover. A Moroccan musician who got the idea to implement the "Gunbri" (also know as the "Sintir")into rock'n'roll .
This instrument is a three stringed skin-covered bass plucked lute used by the Gnawa people in Morocco.
